Graveside services for Dallas Gene Allen Sr., 88, of Cowlington, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at Drakestand Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Allen was born on Dec. 14, 1935, in Sandtown to Pinkney Alexander Allen and Pauline Ada (Bagley) Allen. He died on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, in Keota.
He was a truck driver and of the Pentecostal faith.
He married Beatrice Ann Allen on June 20, 1963, in Oakdale, Calif. She preceded him in death on May 3, 2018.
Survivors include one daughter, Pauline Marie Allen Beaird and Alan of Keota; one son, Dallas Allen Jr. of Sallisaw; seven grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Alec Allen; and one sister, Ada Hammon.
Pallbearers were William Van Waddle, Hyde Waddle, Cody Allen, Tukker Chase, Maddox Fougere and Andrelle Waddle.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House or Children's Hospital of choice.
