I met Smitty in the last few years of his life helping him take care of the property and his yard. Always loved stopping by and seeing him and hearing all his great stories. He will be missed.

Smitty and Marie were cornerstones of Penacook. I always loved visiting the hardware store during their time here. Along with many other of the shopkeepers during those days, they made Penacook a friendly, warm place to live. Rest in Peace Smitty - you´re back with Marie and Dennis - as it should be.
