Duanne Pearson Obituary

Duanne Lyle Pearson, age 83, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri.
He was born on Thursday, November 6, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Algot and Cassandra (Morris) Pearson.
On November 4, 1989, in Ozark, Missouri, Duanne was united in marriage to Rhonda Daugherty. Duanne was an optician for over 50 years and was known to some patients as "Dr. Duanne". He had a fantastic sense of humor and could tell stories like no one else, and was a very creative person, something that his kids inherited from him. Duanne was an avid lover of trains and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Pearson; daughters and son-in-laws Kirsten and Greg Huston of Springfield, Missouri, Jeanine and Darryl Williams of St. James City, Florida; son, Evan Hampton of Carlton, Oregon; daughter Brittany Pearson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; Louren, Ava, Brendan, Drew, Navaeh and Ian.
Duanne was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Daryl Pearson.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County or the Warrensburg Lions Club and may be left in care of the funeral home.
