Judith Billings Obituary

Judith Kay Billings, 82, of Shell Rock, Iowa, and formerly of Cedar Falls, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 17, 2025, at MercyOne Waterloo.
Judy was born on May 30, 1942, in Waverly, Iowa, the daughter of Arnold and Elda (Pries) Garner. She was raised on the family farm near Frederika and attended school in Tripoli, graduating in 1959. In 1960, Judy was united in marriage to Danny Klemp. The couple was blessed with four children and later divorced. In 1992, Judy was united in marriage to Keith Billings. He passed away in December of 2016.
Judy was a member of Corner Stone Church and enjoyed her career in insurance sales. She also liked decorating, plants, gardening, but most of all, she loved shopping and dining out.
Judy is survived by three children, Dawn Madden of Waterloo, Iowa, Alan Klemp of Austin, Texas, and Susan Pawlyshyn of Humble, Texas; Keith's children, Keith Billings Jr., Ty Billings, and Annie Billings; Judy's grandchildren, Mandy Dethloff, Danae Perkins, Josiah Phipps and Kayla Pawlyshyn; great-grandchildren, Kallie Schneider, and Sye Phipps; siblings, Bill (Sandy) Garner, Rosemary (Don) Finger, and Paul (Nancy) Garner; and a sister-in-law, Stephanie Garner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; a son Bruce Klemp in infancy; a great-granddaughter, Jade Perkins; a brother Steve Garner; and her parents.
Memorial services will be at 11:30?a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly, with Pastor Don Finger presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harlington Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
