Frank Doshna Obituary

Frank Doshna, born November 6, 1929 to July 2, 2025, in Yonkers, New York, to Stephan and Anastasia Doshna. He attended school in Yonkers, graduating High School in 1948. After High School he joined the United States Air Force for four years. He is a Korean Veteran. After his honorable discharge from the service he settled in Bayshore, Long Island, New York. He was an aircraft mechanic for Republic Airlines. Later he resettled in Westfield, MA, working for AirKaman Aircraft in Bloomfield, CT, he later changed careers to sales until his retirement. Frank's interests included golfing, working out, being a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary's Church and traveling with his wife, Mary. Frank spent 47 years married to his beloved wife, Mary (Danyliw) of Pittsfield, MA who predeceased him in 1998. To carry on his memories are his Patricia (Charles-deceased) Chiecko of Becket, MA, Jeanne (Stephan Johnson of Westfield, MA,) and his adored Granddaughter Dr. Erin Johnson of Hardwick, MA and God Daughter Joan (John) Texiera of Mahopac, New York, He also leaves many, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, Broad Street, Westfield, MA on Tuesday July 8, from 9-11AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM at St. Mary's Church, Bartlett Street, Westfield, MA. Burial will be on Wednesday June 9, 2025 at the Bourne National Veterans' Cemetery, Cape Cod at 10:45AM. www.firtionadams.com To send flowers to the family, please visit our floral store.
