James Kittredge Obituary

James Allen Kittredge October 26, 1967 – October 6, 2025 James Allen Kittredge, 57, of Broad Brook, CT, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 26, 1967, in Manchester, CT, James was the son of David and Jeanne (Desrosiers) Kittredge. He grew up in Vernon, CT, and graduated from Rockville High School with the Class of 1986. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Eastern Connecticut State University. Jim met the love of his life, Mary Kay Burnett, and the two were married on June 9, 2001. Together, they made their home in Broad Brook, where they raised their three beloved children. Jim had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, camping, and running cross country in his younger years. A talented artist, he loved painting and music, and was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. Some of his happiest memories were made traveling across the country with his family, exploring national parks, especially Acadia National Park, which held a special place in his heart. He most recently served as Head of Warehouse Operations for Tributary Sourcing, where he was admired for his dedication and leadership. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Kay Kittredge; his children, Shane, Jack, and Maeve; his brothers, Dave and wife Elaine, Steve and wife Ann, Chuck and wife Sue; his sisters, Kathleen Vinciullo and Teresa Bendtsen and husband Todd; his aunt, Claire Desrosiers; as well as the loving support of the Burnett family, 24 nieces, nephews and countless dear friends. Jim was predeceased by his father David G Kittredge And Mother in law Marianne Burnett. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 42 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to Connecticut Children's Foundation, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106, or online at www.connecticutchildrensfoundation.org.
