Theresa Ashley Obituary

Theresa C. (Nevue) Ashley, 95, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, at the Life Care Center in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Born on August 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Merrill and Stella (Domoslawski) Nevue.
Theresa was raised in Palmer, Massachusetts, where she spent many years before settling in Brimfield, a town she called home for most of her life. She dedicated over four decades of her career as a winder at Wrights Mill in Warren, Massachusetts, retiring at the age of 62. Theresa was a former member of St. Thomas Church in Palmer and enjoyed attending dinners at the West Warren Senior Center. In her younger years, she found joy in bowling.
Theresa is survived by her brother Walter Nevue and his wife Tanis of Palmer, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wiley Ashley, and her 11 siblings: Robert, Merrill Jr., Raymond, Phillip, Charles, Frank, Elizabeth, Marion, Irene, Loretta, and Katherine.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, February 7th, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m., both at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will take place privately.
Theresa's long life was marked by dedication to her work and community and by the love she shared with those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
