Deborah Daggett Obituary

Deborah A. Daggett, 73, of Monroe City, MO passed away at 6:07 AM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, MO. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2025, at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home in Monroe City, MO. Pastor Brandon Brosi will officiate. Friends and Family are invited to Debbie's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2025, at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home in Monroe City, MO. Arrangements are pending at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home in Monroe City, MO. Debbie was born June 6, 1952, in Quincy, IL, to Arthur Francis Jansen and Vivian Helen Rowsey Jansen. She was married to Richard Daggett on February 17, 1979, in Quincy, Il. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Roberta "Bobbie" (Chuck) Boehme of Monroe City, MO, Laura Daggett of Quincy, IL, Rob Burtgtorf, Racheal Edwards of Hannibal, MO, Cathy (Tony) Allieri of Monroe City, MO, sister, Diane (Ted) Pollock of Quincy, IL, grandchildren, Chrystal (Chris) Siegrist, Nathan Martin, JJ Martin, Marcella Voyles, Allison Voyles, Lacey Voyles, June and Jaycee Allieri, Josh Lorenson, great grandchildren, Lonnie Mae Martin, Riley Siegrist, and numerous nieces and nephews. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Donna Gille, and son, Richard Arthur "Art" Daggett. Deborah was known for her gentle spirit and joyous disposition. She enjoyed collecting angels and dolphins. Deborah could often be found admiring the flowers, drinking her coffee and enjoying a delicious tenderloin. Deborah found joy in reading Harry Potter and watching episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" and "Friends." Her adventures included traveling and cruises taking her to the Caribbean, Jamaica, Bahamas, Belize, and Honduras. Deborah was affectionately dubbed "grandma" by many. Holidays were special to Deborah, with Christmas having a special place in her heart. She often listened to timeless oldies from the 50's and 60's and classic country tunes, like Garth Brooks. Her legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love. Her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those fortunate enough to have known her. Deborah was Catholic by Faith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Blue, Chuck Boehme, Tony Allieri, Andrew Allieri-Mudd, Nathan Martin, Amy Allieri, Jazlyn-Ava Allieri and Ronnie Daggett. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
