Dayton Carl Williams, 80, of Beebe passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at Unity Health-White County Medical Center in Searcy. He was born March 13, 1945, in South Gate, Calif., to the late Virgil and Mabel (Harrison) Williams.
Dayton enjoyed music. He was extremely talented. He could play the guitar, piano, harmonica and accordion. He also loved animals and tinkering on old cars. He was kind, compassionate and truly loved helping people. Dayton was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: three daughters, Selena Fouse of Pangburn, Beckey Briggs (Kevin) of Okinawa, Japan, and Brenda Wheeler (Mike) of Searcy; and one son, Bobby Williams of Crosby, Texas; nine grandchildren, Kaci Smithson, Morgan Smithson, Hunter Garriga, Larry Wheeler, Lexi Venegas, Nicholas March, Carissa Briggs, Jaleen Williams and Preston Williams; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Wilma Panek (George) of Searcy; and a special friend, David Johnson.
In addition to his parents, Dayton is preceded in death by one grandson, Kyle.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 9, from 1-2 p.m. at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral service will start at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, in the Searcy McEuen Chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Olive cemetery in McRae. All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
