Sarah S. Meekins
SWAN QUARTER - Sarah S. Meekins, 83, of Swan Quarter, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at her granddaughter's residence.

She leaves a lot of good memories with many nieces, nephews, friends, and family. She was often encouraged by friends to write books to share her stories and knowledge of so many different subjects, to preserve for many generations.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at St. George's Episcopal Church in Engelhard, with burial to follow at Fairfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
