Linda Diane Simpson Brady took her eternal wings on March 17, 2026, at Novant Health Medical Center.
She was born on January 30, 1951, in Winston-Salem, N.C., to her parents, Joseph Simpson and Barbara Geiger Simpson. She was a faithful member of Macedonia Holiness Church. She graduated from Atkins High School and received her Associate Degree from Davidson County Community College. She retired from R.J. Reynolds and enjoyed participating in activities at the Winston-Salem Lake YMCA. She was devoted to her family and deeply loved writing poetry.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories two loving sons, Marshall Brady Jr. and Kenny Brady; two sisters, Patricia Hicks and Pamela Lewis; one brother, Joseph Simpson Jr.; one granddaughter, Allyson Gore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at theHawthorne Inn Conference Center. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m.
