Nancy Louise Peck Willis, 79, of Kernersville, passed away on March 19, 2026, under the care of Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on October 6, 1946, in Jefferson City, Tenn., to William Tate Peck and Evelyn Nance Peck. On July 11, 1970, she married Roger Willis, who preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by her brother, Larry Peck (Janice); her sister, Alice Peck Davis; her brother, Carl Peck (Darlene); her sisters-in-law, Gloria Willis and Judy Willis Shelton (Earl); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved canine companion, Opie.

Nancy's nickname was "Turbo"-and for good reason. She was truly a force of nature. Despite enduring many painful years with multiple sclerosis, she maintained an active and vibrant social life and treasured her many friendships.

Nancy had a heart for serving others. She was deeply involved in her church, including Sunday School and Circle, and was an active member of the Old Salem Chapter Car Club and the Purple Heart/Wounded Veterans Association. She was also a devoted fan of the Tennessee Volunteers.

Even in the face of the difficult challenges of living with MS and the sudden loss of her husband, Nancy lived life to the fullest. Her resilience, strength, and spirit were an inspiration to all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Main Street United Methodist Church, 306 South Main Street, Kernersville, NC 27284. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Interment will be held at a later date in Tennessee.
