Brent Larry Klein

April 4, 1957 - October 9, 2025

Brent Larry Klein, 68, of Grand Island passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

Memorial service and celebration of Brent's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16th, at All Faiths Funeral Home. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

Brent was born April 4, 1957, in Kearney, the eldest child of Larry and Rogene (Johns) Klein. He was raised in Pleasanton before the family moved to Grand Island, where he graduated from Northwest High School, class of 1975.

Brent had fond memories of the time spent helping his father when they lived on the farm. Following their move to Grand Island, he became an avid pool player, forming a club of friends and classmates that met and played at his parents' house. They eventually had tournaments and trophies.

Upon graduation, Brent was employed by MFS. He ended his career working for Culligan Water.

Brent had a knack for noticing when the neighbors needed a helping hand and enjoyed helping them out. He also enjoyed his time spent hunting with a friend near the South Dakota border. Brent was blessed with a green thumb and always had flower gardens. He was also an avid Nebraska football fan.

Those who cherish Brent's memory include his mother, Rogene; sister and brother-in-law, Erin and Mike Lahowetz; niece, Ariel (Sonny) Dineen; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Klein, and his beloved dog, Shane.

Memorials in Brent's name are suggested to some of the organizations Brent donated to on a regular basis, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children or American Indian Christian Mission.
