Cecile Choquette Obituary

MORRISVILLE: Cecile L. Choquette, 92 of English Ave., passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton. She was born on December 23, 1932, in St. Johnsbury, VT a daughter of the late Benoit and Roseanna (Chouinard) Ladrie and received her education in local schools. On May 22, 1950, in St. Johnsbury, VT she married Maurice R. Choquette. He predeceased her on September 5, 2024. Cecile was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who helped her husband with chores on the farm and was a mom who helped take care of other kids in need. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, baking as well as reading. Surviving are her daughters, Joanne Choquette, Jeannette Courture both of Morrisville, Nancy Choquette of TN, grandchildren, Jason and Tammy Ladd and their children, Hunter, Connor and Jackson, Ryan and Megan Wormuth and their children, Amelia and Benjamin, Justin and Amanda Wormuth and their children, Kayla, Brooke, Allyssa, Madelyn and Jaxon, Kyle and Becky Choquette and their children, Christian, Emily and Kylie Choquette. She was predeceased by a son Richard Choquette great granddaughter, Kelly Jennifer Ladd, two sisters, Theresa Zimmerman and Germaine Benoit and her dog Daisy Mae. Graveside services will be held on August 16, 2025, at 1 PM at the Morrisville Rural Cemetery, Cedar St., Morrisville. Contributions in Cecile memory may be made to Wanderers Rest Humane Association, Inc., 7138 Sutherland Dr., Canastota, NY 13032
