Marianne, Sue, and Joe..We are so saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. He was so loved at HMB by so many people. He always had an entire community around him! I will miss our talks on his porch, rides in his cart around the park and greeting him on his boat. He loved his family with all his heart as well as his friends. May he rest in peace and may your many memories of your Dad give you peace as well. Fondly, Kathy and Bill Lancaster

Marianne, Sue and Joe,
There are no words heartfelt enough to express how sorry we are about the passing of your dad. He was a beautiful sole with the kindest heart. His contagious laugh filled a room with happiness and made everyone around him feel welcomed. He is now with your sweet mom dancing in heaven and we pray that brings you all some peace and comfort. Hold on to the many cherished memories you have and let them help you through this very difficult time. One thing is for certain your dad was loved and respected by so many. We will miss him dearly.
Love,
Angela and John Gaine

Your dad was a happy man, kind and loved the three of you with all his heart. His face showed it whenever he was supporting you over the years. Im glad he's with your mom now.

Pop was an hero for his children and grandchildren. How he missed Fran (as we all did). He was a man of integrity and always made us all individually feel like we were special to him. To Joseph Jr, Mar, Sue, Ben and Haley (and all his beautiful grandchildren), my heart hurts when I heard of his passing. On the other hand, being reunited to Fran made his passing complete for Joe. Even though he no longer is physically in the present, no one can remove the treasure chest in our hearts of all the love he gave. Reach into that chest, feel him with you and remember how blessed you all have been to have such gene pool of Joe and Fran. God speed Joe. I am sure you are embracing GOD and your heavenly family as we speak. We will miss that smile. . Joani

Sue, Marianne, Joe, and family, my sincere condolences. Your dad was not only my Deputy Chief when I started in the HFD, he was my mentor, but more importantly he was my friend. I’m sorry that I won’t be there to see you and pay my respects for Joe’s last alarm. I’ll never forget the man I called Chief and you called Pop!
