Brother, fair winds and following seas. You found God in life and he will welcome you in your new journey. You always worked hard on deployment and supported your fellow Soldiers, a true patriot, a true servant leader. Im proud to have served with you, your humor and positivity always made the suck better. God speed.

Was a very good Christian for having generosity in his heart.

You had the sweetest heart, Michael. Every time I walked in the room with your "Uncle" Brian, you'd go to the greatest of lengths to make him feel so important. He felt on top of the world in your presence, and that's all you wanted for him. That precious acknowledgement was so profound. You were an Angel in my eyes long before you spread those wings. Rest easy Sweetie. We all know where to find you when it's our turn. You gave all.

My heart goes out to Michael's family. I know how much you loved him and how painful it must have been to watch him suffer every day, and try to smile through it. He is at peace now. Please know there is an especially beautiful place in the afterlife for Michael and his brave Band of Brothers. Thank you for your service Michael.
