Amanda Fricke Obituary

Amanda Louise "Pup" Lawrence Fricke, 40, of Roanoke, VA passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born January 1, 1985 in Winchester, VA she was the daughter of Hazel Lee Lawrence of Rich Creek, VA and the late Marvin Eugene "Gene" Lawrence. Amanda was a homemaker and a mother. She loved her kids and loved being a mom. She was a member of Peterstown Pentocostal Holiness Church in Peterstown. Amanda enjoyed going on vacations with her husband, John, and their children. They loved going to Myrtle Beach and Pigeon Forge. She also loved shopping and was a devoted and loving daughter. In addition to her mother, Hazel she is survived by her husband John Fricke of Roanoke, VA; and their children, Ashton D. Fricke, Peyton S. Fricke, Montana S. Fricke, and Olivia S. "Bunny" Fricke; two brothers, Marvin E. Lawrence, II of Pilot Mountain, NC and Joseph A. Lawrence of Winchester, VA; and four sisters, Kimberly S. Masters, Amy C. Lawrence, Laura J. McCartney, and Corrina G. Perkins all of Princeton. In honoring Amanda's wishes there will be a private family graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where she will be laid to rest next to her father, Gene. Serving as pallbearers are, Marvin Lawrence, Joseph Lawrence, Ed Masters, Shannon Hodge, Roy Perkins, Chris Wade, Tony Mullins, and Tommy Stickley
