Albert Arriaga Obituary

April 1, 1962 - April 22, 2008 Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, raised in Southern California, and made his home in Colorado Springs. He is survived by his parents Mr. Albert Luna Arriaga and Mrs. Oralia Arriaga; his son, Albert Lara Arriaga; daughter-in-law, Evelyn, and grand-daughter, Zhane. Albert also leaves behind his sisters; Mrs. Sandra Apodaca and Mrs. Debra Castro; brothers-in-law Joe and Art; nephews Gabriel and Daniel; nieces, Alexandria and Samantha; grand-niece, Francesca; and grand-nephew, Christopher Luke; uncles, aunts, cousins, and his grandmother, Mrs. Benita Gutierrez. Albert Jr. completed high school in California, took many courses and was certified in many trades. He loved to keep busy, he was a heavy machine operator, carpenter, and mechanic. He was truly a jack of all trades. He loved being with his family, sitting, joking, laughing, and poking fun at one another. His greatest accomplishment was his son Albert III and his joy was his grand-daughter Zhane. He had the highest respect for his father and the only women he ever truly loved, his mother. He's gone home to join our father in heaven and his grandmother Guadelupe Aguilar. Rosary services will be held Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 5:00 PM at Advantage ~ Chapel of Memories. 829 S. Hancock Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Advantage ~ Chapel of Memories. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery to follow.
