My mother, Betty Fogler, knew the General as a Friend of the AFA Library. She started in the library when the Academy was still at Lowery and retired after 30 years. She admired General Clark and greatly appreciated his strong support for the cadet library.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I remember when I first met and fell in love with General Clark. I was a bright-eyed 15 year old Junior Red Cross Volunteer working at Camp Kue Army Hospital in Okinawa. He presented an award for my accumulation of over 1000 hour as a volunteer over the previous year. I remember how handsome, charming, and kind he was. It was puppy love at first sight. He will always have a special place in my heart. It is such a privilege to have known him. God bless you.

We were very priviledged to have met General Clark and have him and his wonderful wife Carolyn as our next door neighbours in Monument Colorado, for many years. We loved him and admired him dearly. We will remember him always. He watches over us from the signed picture of his painting as the Air Force Academy Superindendent that the gave us. May he rest in peace. Frank and Maida Gasparik

May God comfort and bring His peace to the family of this warrior. General Clark, rest in God's sanctuary, along with those you join there. You were an inspiration as a Christain , a warrior, and a leader I first met you in my childhood, and later in Colorado Springs. You and your lovely wife will be in my memories and my prayers.

I served with General Clark in the early 70's at the USAF Academy as one of his Staff Protocol Officers. His calm/considered approach to life was evident every day. An honor to serve him.
