Alice Stouffer Obituary

Long time Colorado Springs resident, Alice Stouffer, passed away in Arizona on September 17, 2013. She was 89 years old.

Alice was born in Clinton, Iowa to Howard and Lois (Alden) Kildow on August 6, 1924. She was the youngest of 5 children. She was married to Warren Hansen in 1940 to 1967. Warren died in 2003. Together they had 3 children: their daughter, Beth Tomes (age 18), preceded them in death in an automobile accident in 1958.



Alice is survived by her son Michael J. Hansen and Karen Hansen of Preston, Iowa, and a daughter, Marla (Hansen) Garza of Arizona. She is survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 grandchildren adopted by Daniel and Jenna Dombrowski; and 17 known great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, and a cousin, Edie Kildow. Alice is survived by her little cat, Tippy, whom she loved dearly and was her constant companion for the last nine years.

Preceding her in death: her parents, her four siblings and their spouses, and her 2nd husband, William R. Stouffer, in 1990.



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Entombment will be at the mausoleum.
