Anthony Schiappacasse Obituary

Anthony Joseph Schiappacasse, age 17, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2005 in Salida. Anthony was born January 30, 1988 in Boulder, Colorado to Joseph Anthony and Barbara ( Putz) Schiappacasse. Anthony was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a previous member of the Monarch Ski Team, a Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer and and Alter Server at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He attended Longfellow Elementary School and Salida Middle School until he and his family moved to Colorado Springs. Anthony enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, basketball and playing the guitar and trumpet. Anthony is preceded in death by his father and sister, Rosella Schiappacasse. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Schiappacasse of Colorado Springs, CO; grandparents, Arlin Putz of Colorado Springs, CO and Jane Schiappacasse of Royal Oak, MI; aunts: Mary Schiappacasse RSM of MI and Judy (Rick) Wilson of Orchard Lake, MI; uncles: Ed Schiappacasse of Royal Oak, MI, Louie Schiappacasse of Salida, CO and Steve Putz of Salida, CO.; cousins: Peter and Ryan Calloway of Orchard Lake, MI. Viewing will be from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial is set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends who desire may make memorial contributions to the Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteers and the Association of Community Living in Boulder County through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
