Barbara Francis Shean passed after a brief illness with cancer.
Born June 30, 1939, in Adams, New York, Barbara was raised by her grandma Florence Whalen. She married Bernard (Bum) Finn in March of 1959 and had 3 children. As a mother, she was generous, kind and very loving to all who knew her.
Barb was the oldest of 5 kids. Judy, Bill, and Michael. Reginald and Bud preceded her in death.
Barbara is survived by her 3 children:
Rusty Finn, Todd Michael Kueker (Finn), and Vicki Sue Hipsher-Strole.
Barbara had 8 grandchildren: Crystal, Russ, Nina, Barbie, Rebecka, Brian, Blane, Katie, and Cody. She was preceded in death by William Joseph Kueker. Barbara also had 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grand child.
Barbara lived in Palmer Lake Colorado for many years and called it home.
Barbara loved her animals. Sandy Marie was her baby, along with the many stray cats she helped. She would give her last dollar to make sure they were all being taken care of.
Barbara worked in daycare for many years, and as a private nanny. She gave every kid her love like they were her own flesh and blood. Barbara also loved being in the American Legion Post 5 Auxiliary. She was a member for 40 years and she has held every office from Sgt of Arms to President a couple times.
A celebration of life and her birthday will be had at Patty Jewett Golf Course on Sunday June 30th at 2:00 pm. Just the way she would have wanted it..
