Dr Barry Weinhold, noted psychologist and creator of the original Kindness Campaign, passed away peacefully. He is survived by his family, Marjorie Billau, Mark Weinhold, Gregory Wilson, Sophia Wilson and his partner, Sierra Dall. He and his partner, developed KindnessCentral.org, an association promoting prosocial behavior. This remarkable man made a positive impact on the world.

Barry changed my life, simple as that. He did so for thousands, and I´m grateful to have been one. I will remember him and his impact will last.

I didn't know Barry personally, but I remember the Kindness Campaign very well. I was a 4th grade teacher in District 11 in the 90s, and my students embraced this philosophy with open arms. I made it part of my "curriculum" for the rest of my career. How much more kindness and compassion exist in this world because of Barry, we will never know, but it must be incredible!
