Bruce Jay Swain was born on October 18, 1943, to Jack and Norma Swain of Hastings Nebraska along with his sisters Patti Ring and Annette Swain. He served in the US Navy and retired from Colorado Springs Utilities after over thirty years of service. He raised three children John (Laurie), Angie and Cindy with his ex-wife Jean. His grandchildren Bruce, Cody, Mackenzie, Alan, Charity, KC, Ruger, Colton were the apple in his eyes. He spent his final years happily in South Padre, TX with his beloved companion Karon (JO) Grant.
You could often find him on the golf course amongst friends; he never met a stranger. His margaritas are legendary he was always up for a drink on the patio with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who know him.
