Billie L. Bellmyer born January 8th, 1925 in Heaton, OK to John and Vessie Burkett departed this life February 16th, 2006. Billie past away after a long battle with a heart related illness with loved ones by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis H. Bellmyer. Her parents, John and Vessie Burkett; a granddaughter, Jennifer Bellmyer; her brother, Calvin 'Snooks' Maytubby; and a sister, Otherine Winters. Her life lives on with Carl, Julie, and Marnie Bellmyer of Livermore, CO; Gary, Colette, and Wendy Lindt of Colorado Springs, CO; Danny, Tammy, Austin, and Madison Lindt of Yuma, CO; Bob and Colleen Eichman of Rush, CO.; Dave and Elizabeth Gibson of Colorado Springs, CO; Christopher, Kimberly and McKenzie Akerlund of Colorado Springs, CO; Craig and Jackie Bellmyer of Boone, CO; Brett, Glen, and Tanner Bellmyer of Denver, CO; Joel, Shannon, Garrett, and Rylan Clark of Rush, CO; her siblings: Carol Spurling of Falcon, CO and Franklin 'Chief' Maytubby and June George of Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law, Irene Maytubby of Colorado Springs, CO; She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. At time of death she was residing at Lifecare Center of Colorado Springs, CO. She had been there almost five years, and was a joy to the residents and staff. Billie loved, ranching, dogs, cats, gardening, being outdoors and helping people. She loved her family as much as they love her and gave us a lifetime of memories that will always be cherished and never forgotten. There will be no public services held. A private family service will be held at a later date.
