Carl Andre (Andy) Tree born September 23, 1957 at Air Depot, Morocco to Carl F Tree Jr and Roselyne (Bourguignon) Tree. He passed away peacefully at his home in Manitou Springs on December 1, 2025 with his black lab, Charlie by his side and his life partner Steven MacWhorter.
Carl was a military brat who finally wound up in Colorado Springs in 1970 for his father's last assignment in the USAF. He attended North Jr High and graduated in 1975 from Mitchell HS. His employment included H Salt Fish and Chips, Elbert Transfer, Focus on the Family, DJ at events, Dillards, and the Manitou Inn.
Carl loved playing with his dog, Charlie, gardening, music, the mountains and learning about his family history.
Carl is survived by his life partner Steven MacWhorter. Son, Joshua Tree of California. Sister; Coralyne and husband Ernie Michaelis of Atoka OK. Brothers; Patrick Tree and wife Vicki of Colorado Springs, Gerry Tree and wife Shelli of Eagle River, AK. Chris Tree and wife Dianna Tree of Atoka OK. Nieces; Ashkea and husband Marcus Logan of Atoka OK, Jenniffer and husband Kris Singleton of Atoka OK. Nephews; Jonathan Tree of Portland OR, Seth and wife Michaela Tree of Atoka OK, Garett and wife Jordan Tree of Eagle River AK. Uncle Mike Tree of Shreveport, LA. Cousins Veronique and husband George Damay of Marseille, France. Tabitha and husband Blane Carroll of Bossier City, LA; Brandon Tree of Shreveport, LA. Maxime Damay of Marseille, France. Numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
