I would like to express condolences to Colonel Weaver's family on behalf of the 482nd FIS that he once commanded. Regretably late.
For myself, I liked him and salute his contributions to this nation. I wish I had met him when he and I were younger. Arlington is a most fitting resting place.

A great leader and commander. I worked for him as a maintenance officer and squadron mobility officer with the F-102's at Seymour Johnson AFB. He was a mentor that helped me greatly.

What a pleasant man! I will always remember his warmth and acceptance of his young daughter's friend from around the corner, always playing at his home.
