CASEY GUNN Obituary

On Sunday, April 14, 2013, Casey James Gunn, 21, passed away in his sleep at his apartment in Colorado Springs and is now making music in heaven. Casey was born on February 27, 1992. He was homeschooled through 6th grade. 7th through 12th, Casey attended Manitou Springs High School where he played golf and baseball. Casey loved music, his family, and his friends. His happiest times were playing bass guitar with his friends in their group known as Drinking with Job. Casey later developed an interest in Dubstep and would spin/DJ for several local clubs. Casey had a gentle and generous spirit. His door was always open to the many friends that would drop by to hang out. Casey leaves behind his parents, Steve and Rhonda Gunn; his two brothers, Matt and Branden, and many friends. Visitation for any who want to say goodbye will be at Cappadona Funeral Home, 1020 E. Fillmore, from 4:00-6:00 Friday, followed by a candlelight vigil, arranged by his friends, off the main parking lot at Garden of the Gods Park, at 7:00. Graveside burial will take place at 10:30 Saturday at Crystal Valley Cemetery, Plainview Place, Manitou Springs. A memorial service/reception is scheduled for 12:00 at 1st Evangelical Free Church, 820 N. 30th Street. In lieu of flowers, please make donations, in memory of Casey, to the Springs Rescue Mission, 5 W. Las Vegas, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
