Catherine Clark Obituary

July 28, 1951 - December 9, 2008
Cathy died at home in her sleep leaving this earth to rest in the arms of Jesus after battling ovarian cancer for 15 years. She was a walking miracle and her fight was an inspiration to many. Cathy graduated from Mitchell High School and worked at Compassion International for 19 years in various capacities. Cathy was born to William W. and Mary Louise (Lutze) McLeod in Colorado Springs, CO. Both her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother William F. McLeod (Pamela), many loving and caring Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and her truly compassionate family at Compassion as well as First Church of the Nazarene. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 15 at 4 p.m. at the Compassion International Chapel, 12290 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80921. Please phone (719) 487-7000 for directions. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Compassion International and/or First Church of the Nazarene, 4120 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80916.

We met Cathy at Springs First years ago. We counted the offering with her and her Mother, Mary Lou, for a few years. I'm sure there is comfort knowing that they are together with their Heavenly Father and she is no longer suffering.
