Pearce
CHARLES "CHUCK" E. PEARCE
June 25, 1942 January 6, 2021
Charles E. (Chuck) Pearce, 78, of Manitou Springs, CO went to God on January 6, 2021 from cancer. Chuck was at home with his wife and daughter by his side.
Chuck was born in Colorado Springs and graduated from Manitou Springs High School where he met his wife, Jan Mathes. Chuck and Jan were married for 57 years.
Chuck was a "telephone man" for Mountain Bell and then AT&T where he worked mostly at Norad. Upon retirement, he went to work for the State of Colorado in communications.
Chuck is survived by his wife Jan, daughter Jill Pearce, his sister Sally Pearce, cousins and good friends. Chuck was a devoted husband and father and all who met him said he was a great guy. His passion was his Harley Davidson motorcycle. No services are planned.

My sincere condolences to Jan and family. I was fortunate to have worked 4 years with Chuck at NORAD. We both graduated from Manitou High School but hadn't met until I was transferred, by AT&T, to Cheyenne Mt. in 1991. He was a great working partner and was always helpful while I was learning all the specialized equipment up there. He was always dependable and good to be around. I considered him a friend.
