Charles Schuster born December 31, 1929, passed away March 22, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his son Charles H. Schuster, daughter in law Sheri Schuster, son in law Eric Parmenter and brother Thomas Schuster. He leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren, Charles L. Schuster, Misty A. Schuster and Heather Netzler as well as Heather's spouse Joe Netzler. Great grandchildren Madison and Ashton Netzler. His wife Lois A. Schuster and daughter Debra A. Parmenter preceded him in death. Charles was a patriot and served honorably in the United States Army for over 22 years. He served in the Korean Conflict as well as the Vietnam conflict and received numerous decorations for valor. Services will be held at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery on April 7, 2022 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to the DAV. He is loved and missed greatly by his family, but they find comfort knowing he is with God and family that preceded him in death.

The Buckley SFB military Retiree Activities Office (RAO) would like to offer our sincere condolences and our gratitude for Mr. Schuster's 22 years of service to our country in the Army. If you would like help with any matters related to casualty assistance, Defense Finance & Accounting Service, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), Veterans Affairs (VA), etc. you can contact our office on Buckley SFB at 720-847-6693. The RAO is staffed by volunteers, all military retirees themselves, and our sole purpose is to provide assistance to any military retirees and surviving spouses/family members with anything related to their military service and/or benefits, in particular during difficult times such as this. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
