Cousin Chuck, I always looked up to & admired you. You lived a highly principled life and I still read your Papers occasionally just to hear your voice. You are sorely missed by family, including me. Some day, we will all be reunited in Heaven.

Dr. Yoos, a professor whose inspiration contributed to my education at Fort Lewis College. Thank you Dr. Yoos and always a joy just to say hello and stop by your office for a word or two. We wrote poems in one of our take home essays, in addition to our in-class exam. I wrote about Veterans, since my Father was one. One day, he was in the Student Union having lunch and he called me over, he said Frank, "it brought a tear to my eye." That touched me and I will never forget. So sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. A true gentleman and gentle man. Wish our teaching years overlapped for more years before I retired. My prayers go out for Linda and the family.

I was deeply saddened to learn that a classmate at both USAFA and UCLA, and later a faculty colleague in the Academy Management Department had passed away. I have fond memories of suffering through endless meetings to better manage what seemed to be a well-organized department, and in contrast to the clutter in my office, he making that point much more eloquently and with less volume than me, and the 3 or 4 books he kept on his desk - all, he said, that he ever needed. RIP, Chuck.

Col Yoos was an amazing officer and instructor, both patient and kind. At the end of my four years at USAFA, he is one of only two instructors worth remembering. I am sorry for your loss, and sorry I didn't take the chance to let him know what an impact he has had on my Air Force career.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Yoos during my time at FLC. Not only was he a brilliant mind with a knack for making tough concepts understandable, but he had a warmth about him that you don't find in many. He truly cared about his students and was always with a smile. My sincerest condolences to the Yoos family.

Dr. Yoos made such an impression on me and probably forever altered the course of my life through the rich conversation about business and life that he offered in his class. I am very sad to hear of his passing but but know that he was just that type of person to impact people where-ever he went. I'm thankful to have crossed paths with him at FLC.

Back in the 1990's Chuck agreed to join me in the establishment of the Children's Museum here in Colorado Springs. He had such a kindness about him. He was very generous in spirit and had the ideas and creativity and the willingness to figure out ways to excite the kids with exhibits made by the Cadets from the Air Force Academy. What joy he brought to all of us. He will be remembered always with love. May our Lord and Savior bring you all peace.
