Thanks to the Howerton "kids" for the Tribune obituary of Clarellen. Hard to believe she was 101 years old. Joe mentioned to us shortly after we met them in Prestbury that he was concerned about her health due to some heart issue and that was about 44 years ago.We tried to email Clarellen some years ago to an address she sent to us but it did not go through.
Along with the Yeazel's, we have many great memories of the trips and mostly laughs the six of us had together. Gordy Yeazel died before Joe and we just learned wife Katie died 4 years ago. We often think of these dear friends and all the great times we shared.
We are now in our 80's. still in our Prestbury house. Our 2 daughters live in Minneapolis and New Hampshire and the 4 boys are still in the Chicago area. They did their best to contribute to a zero population growth with 7 grandchildren.
Hope you are all well and thanks again for the Trib notice.
