Claudia Knudsen, born January 27, 1937, passed away September 6, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her beloved son, John Knudsen; her parents, Jack and Beryl Parker; and brother-in-law, Bill Rohrer.
Claudia is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Joyce Rohrer, Jackie (Bill) Hampton, Jack (Leigh) Parker, Preston (Naomi) Anglin, and Paula (Bill) Kemp. Along with her siblings, she is survived by many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins, great and alike.
Claudia married sixty-three years ago and is survived by her loving husband, Clifford L. Knudsen. Together they shared an amazing life, full of laughter and unconditional love. Claudia served as a military wife and homemaker. She proudly supported Cliff's military career all while loving and caring for their five children. Deploying all over the world, Claudia took pride in holding down the fort while Cliff served his country and when he deployed to fight in multiple wars.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Charlotte (Gary) Nolan, Cliff Knudsen, Christine Vigo, Janice (Rob) Saleny and Brian McIntyre.
Claudia is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Taya Jean Knudsen, Christa (Branden) Puglisi, Justin (Kelley) McIntyre, Nicholas (Chelbye) McIntyre, Angel Hollis, and Roger (Michael) Knudsen; along with her beloved great-grandchildren, Serenity Puglisi and Blakeleigh McIntyre.
Claudia kept her family coming together with her delicious family dinners and fun family card nights. She was the matriarch of this family and she will be missed like no other.

The Buckley SFB military Retiree Activities Office (RAO) would like to offer our sincere condolences on your loss. From the obituary it appears Mr. Knudsen may be a military retiree. If so, and you would like help with any matters related to casualty assistance, Defense Finance & Accounting Service, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), Veterans Affairs (VA), etc. you can contact our office on Buckley SFB at 720-847-6693. The RAO is staffed by volunteers, all military retirees themselves, and our sole purpose is to provide assistance to any military retirees and surviving spouses/family members with anything related to their military service and/or benefits, in particular during difficult times such as this. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
