Wishing our sweet Dane a Happy 31st Heavenly Birthday. Romans 14:8-9 says, "That if we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord". What better way to spend your birthday than with our Lord and Savior. You will be forever in our hearts and minds. We love and miss you!

It´s never easy Son. I love and miss you so much.
I know Heaven is much better with you there but we all miss you so much son. Words can not even begin to describe the feeling. Say hello to Grandpa and Grandma for me.

The years pass and I am left to wonder the impact you would have had on the world given more time. 5 SEP 2007 changed our lives and on this day I always think "what were you doing at this exact time in Iraq." So much I wish I could change, do, and so much I wish I had said. I never thought any harm would come to you. If i could change places, I would, 100 times. As I have said, you told me "they do not forget" and you my son were correct. I was wrong. Love you, think of you, and speak your name. Both Grant and Quinn are "Dane 2.0." You would be soooooo proud of them but even in passing, you are an inspiration, and a hero.
