David Amante Obituary
On May 19, 2007, Dave married Tonya Marie Wallace. The two moved to Colorado Springs from the Seattle area to buy a house and to raise a family. Dave was known as a devoted and loving husband and father. He lived for his children; they were the center of his world. He was very creative and artistic. He enjoyed collecting vintage toys, fixing them up and then selling them for a profit. He also was an avid gamer and well known in the gaming community.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Tonya: children: Alexander "Xander;" and Lilith "Lily;" mother, Clarine Amante; siblings: Brenda Amante/Howard, Frederic Amante and Thomas Frost. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Shrine of Remembrance North Chapel, 5440 North Union Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918.
A Celebration of Life service and reception will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
