I was only recently made aware of Dave's passing, so sorry for the delay. Dave was so bright, funny, and very articulate. May God Bless his soul and be with Jill.
We shared the University of Denver Ph.D. journey together, both finishing together.

Dear Jill--In the seemingly short amount of time we taught together at Immanuel, I took so many incredibly fond memories of Dave with me when I went back to California to resume my teaching career. Dave could be so outrageously funny and then turn around and be a serious and compassionate educator that reached out to students and fellow teachers alike. Over the years I have thought of you both quite often and had meant to get in touch when I've been in Colorado. I am sorry that didn't happen. I hope that when feeling sad you are able to reach for those memories that you've made with Dave over the last 37 years and perhaps a smile and a giggle or two will come and you'll be able to bring a bit of solace to yourself. I am so so sorry and am thinking of you, praying for your family and as time passes you begin to feel some peace.
I will be donating to the suggested places that were listed in Dave's name.

We are heartbroken, Jill; words are inadequate. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you in this awful time of sorrow.

My deepest sympathies to you, Jill. I enjoyed being in the company of Nancy & Harland's loved ones over many years and admired Dave's talent as an educator. I will pray for you and family members for God's comfort during this sad time of grieving and eventual peace in this life's journey.

Dave took a chance on me, bringing me to Falcon in 1991 and I will always be grateful for that. Dave was such a professional and educator. He will be missed by friends and family.
