David Allen Strecker, 67, of Mississippi, passed away September 18, 2023. He is survived by his mother, Beverly Strecker of Mississippi; lifelong love, Laurel Bojarski; daughters, Taylor Strecker of Arizona and Cheyanne Spears (Roger) of Arizona; grandchild, Greyson a host of extended family and close friends. He is also survived by Whitney Hall (Richie) and Annelise of Mississippi and Jared Patrick (Heather) of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Strecker; sister, Elaine Strecker; grandparents, Albert and Martha Strecker and Floyd and Mildred Eflin. Dave owned and operated Strecker Transportation for most of his life and was of the Lutheran faith. He was a skilled diesel mechanic, enjoyed target practicing, and loved dogs and Nascar. His younger years were spent camping, fishing, and hiking in Colorado with his family. In honor of Dave's wishes, a graveside service will be held at a later date for all family and friends. As a loving son, father, lifelong partner, and friend, he will truly be missed by those that knew him. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Dave was my very very good friend when we were in Las Vegas. I was always called Speedy... My name is Ken . Sure wished I knew of is passing earlier. Dave, u will always be in my thoughts. From a old trucker, they don't make um like u and me anymore.. if his other half sees this or his family could u maybe reach out to me . My #419-266-1516 . What a good friend he was to me.
