Mr. Dean Christensen passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 after losing his battle with cancer.
Dean was born in 1956, the second of six children to Lloyd and Joyce Christensen of Breckenridge, Minnesota.
Dean Lived in Colorado for over 45 and loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, scuba diving and kayaking were some of his favorite pastimes. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with family, friends, his siblings and their families, but especially his two beautiful granddaughters.
Dean is survived by his wife of 29 years, Fran Christensen, his daughter Kayla Rae Rodgers (Peter) of San Diego, CA, step-daughter Kelly Martinez of Colorado Springs and two granddaughters Scarlett Rae Rodgers and Sophie Martinez.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
A Memorial Service will be held at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80903 on Wednesday, 04/05/2023 at 3:00 pm.
