Douglas McCallister Obituary
An open house in celebration of his life will be held Sunday, March 29th 2015 at 733 Orchard Drive in Louisville, CO.
Douglas was born March 4, 1953 to Burton and Patricia McCallister of Colorado Springs, CO. He graduated from Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs before going on to attend the University of Southern Colorado.
On December 15, 1979 Douglas married Barbara "Barb" McCarty in Colorado Springs. They were married for 36 years.
Douglas worked as a Printer for Creative Print Solutions in Denver, CO.
He is survived by his wife Barb McCallister of Louisville; his parents Burton and Patricia McCallister of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his sisters Peggy (Mike) Weber, Nancy Cass, and Betsy McCallister all of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

M.P. Murphy and Associates Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangement.

I went to school with Doug in the HAT program for 5th & 6th grade at Stratton Elementary. We were good friends at the time but lost touch over the years. Sorry to hear of his passing so young.

I remember Doug hanging out with Monty back in their High School days getting ready for their trip to Mexico with Outward Bound. They took me rock climbing a few times in Garden of the Gods.Was scary for me, not them though. Always was a genuinely nice, happy, good person. RIP Doug.
