My Father/My Hero: On this Sunday morning, two days later it shall be, one year since I've seen your clairvoyant sparkling eyes. I continue, father catching myself, to pick up the phone to call you about current events, football, or just a nice father/daughter chat. You, through faith, subdued and quenched diabetes the violence of diabetes. My hero - you went to your permanent home in heaven. God had different plans for you there - something incredible was being produced for you in heaven. Father, you taught me that my mind is the birthplace..the incubator..…the beginning point of everything that I shall do on my journey here. When my heart is on the line, in the most painful circumstances, I choose to continue pressing forward. I shall continue to allow the light of Jesus within me to radiate his image through me.
