Eileen Nelson Obituary

Eileen Nelson, age 66, a tax preparer and longtime Colorado Springs resident passed on May 16, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Dartmouth, Massachusetts on April 26, 1944 to the late Carlos and Deolinda (Soares) Mello. She is survived by her loving husband, Raul Balquin; four stepsons: Tony (Trent), Bobby (Sara), Roger (Melissa) and Rudy (Laura); and five grandchildren. She leaves behind her siblings: Lorraine Oliver of Colorado Springs; Donald Mello, Raymond Mello, and Diane Mello, all of Massachusetts. She will be greatly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 25 at 4:30 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful� Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eileen's name may be made to Al Kaly Shriners Children's Transportation Fund c/o Shriners of Al Kaly, P.O. Box 193, Pueblo, CO 81004.
