Eric was born February 23, 1974 in Valparaiso, Indiana
He passed into the arms of Jesus on October 5, 2024 after a long illness due to complications of diabetes.
He graduated from Woodland Park High School and attended Mesa State University & Pikes Peak State College.
He was employed by Safeway for 29 years, most recently as produce manager and then seafood manager.
He is survived by his parents, David Simpkins of Woodland Park, Sandra & Bob Tibodeau of Colorado Springs, brother Wyatt Simpkins of Woodland Park, Michael(Michele) & Dawn Tibodeau of St. Paul, MN, Heather Tibodeau of Stuttgart, Germany, Laina Carver & their children, Bella & Collin Carver, and grandson Bennett Selvin all of Woodland Park, Charles Bull of Renton, WA, and half sister Nichole Bull of Portland, OR
He was pre-deceased by his half brother, Timothy Bull.
Eric was a gentle soul & bright light to anyone who knew him. He loved his job, co-workers, & customers. He was proud of his work ethic & dependability. He also enjoyed dirt biking and video games.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
Memorial donations can be made to the Woodland Park Community Cupboard or the American Diabetes Association.

My condolences my friend I should have reconnected with you since coming back to Colorado after my military service. We had some fun together in high school. I´m so sorry. May you rest in peace.
