ERICA STILES Obituary

A family friend recently told us of Erica's passing. Erica and I were children when we met in 1974 at Vallecito Elementary. We spoke different languages so instead of words, we smiled at eachother a lot. I will never forget her smile. She was a very bright light and brought me much happiness during a very difficult transition in my young life. She was my friend and accepted me for all the ways in which I was different. When I think back to those years, I always see her smiling face, her kind eyes, and her beautiful blond hair. She will always live in my heart and my childhood memories. Inga, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Erica's passing. My condolences to her family.

The last time I saw Erica I had such a warm visit with her as she showed me all the exciting improvments to the shop. What I remember the most was her pausing to let me know how much she appreciated my friendship as a fellow "car girl". That meant so much to me.
Her kindness will be greatly missed. My thoughts & prayers are with her loved ones at this difficult time.

I will always cherish my childhood memories growing up with Erica and our summers we spent together. She was such an inspiration and a beautiful person inside and out.

My memories of Erica are of a very sweet, loving girl. Being around her made everyone feel happy. I was very fortunate to be her 4th grade teacher at Vallecito. May your memories help comfort you.

My heart is very heavy hearing about the loss of Erica. I have wonderful childhood memories of Erica from Vallecito, Girl Scouts, high School , and seeing her on several occasions in S.F. in the 80s. I remember her smile, laugh,and fun sense of humor. Sending thoughts of strength and love to Inga and family. Erica certainly made an impact in many lives. Much Love!

We were so very sorry to hear the tragic news about Erica - our thoughts and love go out to the family -- Erica will be missed by so many people who loved her -- she was an incredible person and an inspiration.

my prayers go out to erica's family. we went to grades school through high school together. she was very nice. so sad.

Our hearts go out to all of Erica's family and friends. This is such a tragedy. We only met Erica recently, but we were so touched by her sweet spirit and honest warmth. A very special lady. She will be much-missed.
