Eula Andrews Obituary

Eula (Banks) Andrews, 91, died at home on April 10, in the same house she was born in and loved so much, under the compassionate care of Umbrella Home Health and her favorite caregivers, Amber and Charlotte.

Eula was born on November 27, 1923, to Charles and Fredericka Banks. She was a loyal and faithful daughter, sister, and aunt, and is survived by one brother, Kenneth, as well as by many nieces and nephews who loved her lots.

Eula was a woman of faith who believed strongly in the Word of the Lord. She was also a fantastic piano player, a friend to all stray cats and silly dogs, and a great fan of Judge Judy.

Throughout her life, she displayed a keen interest in current events and sports, with the high stakes Olympics and Tour de France particular favorites.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25 at 1:00, at the Church of God in Christ at 701 north spruce st.

The Banks family and the McDonald family have had their lives intersect for a long time. Eula was one of my Mom, Erna McDonald's first friends. They played together, went to school together and worked in their community together. We will miss her! She was always so kind and encouraging to me. She celebrated my accomplishments and encouraged me to go further. Rest in the arms of Jesus, Miss Eula.
