Eva Elizabeth McKay
Eva Elizabeth McKay, born 1933 in Norwich, New York, was welcomed into heaven September 18, 2017 after long struggle with Alzheimer's.
A graduate of the College of New Rochelle, teacher and lover of humor, musical theatre, gardens, travel, camping, and life-long learning who never lost her wit, Eva became the perfect military wife and mother. Active in school, community, and church, she became caregiver to her own parents Gerald and Gertrude Ormon in the 80's.
Eva is survived by her spouse of nearly 60 years, LTC Michael McKay, their five children: Steve, Kathy Mead, Mike, Jeanne White, and Christopher, six grandchildren, brothers Jerry and Tom, and sister Carol.
Memorial Mass will be Friday, September 29 at 11AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
In lieu of flowers or gifts please make a donation in Eva's name to Bright Focus Foundation.
