Felix Gonzales, 84, passed away October 29, 2025, in Pueblo, Colorado. He was the widower of Josephine Gonzales; they shared 60 years of marriage together. Born in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of Feliciano and Sophia Gonzales. He graduated from Arizona State University and was a Professor of Social Work at CSU Pueblo for 26 years. Felix was a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church. He enjoyed family meals and being a musician. He will be remembered for his jokes, and his faith to God and his family. Felix is survived by his children Danny (Susan) Gonzales, Amy (Gilbert) Jaime, and Ricardo (Kristy) Gonzales; his 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother John Gonzales, and a number of nieces, nephews, and close friends. Felix was preceded in passing by his parents Feliciano and Sophia Gonzales, brothers Jose and Joel Gonzales, and his wife Josephine Gonzales.
A rosary will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 9:30am, with funeral mass to follow at 10am at Holy Apostles Catholic Church. Felix will be laid to rest with military honors at Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
