I served with George in Aviano Italy in the late 70s and had a wonderful relationship with him during our time in the Command Post. RIP George!

Besides his many other accomplishments, George was a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, a rank much sought yet seldom achieved. I came to know him in the late sixties when we were stationed together in northern Italy, and have never yet met his equal to this day. A man of great strength and honor, and unlikely to be forgotten.
