Gloria Medina, age 72, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1984 and previously of El Paso, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 18th, 2018 at her home in Colorado Springs. She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel G. Medina, brother Armando Valle and twin sister Delia Vargas. She was a US postal worker for 22 years. Gloria was born on March 2, 1946 in El Paso Texas to the late Jose and Josefa Valle. She married Manuel G. Medina on July 22, 1964 in El Paso. She is survived by her four loving sons: Ruben, Oscar, Enrique and Daniel Medina of Colorado Springs. She has four daughters: Patricia Mushero and Rosemary Medina of Colorado Springs and Sylvia Hutchins of Galion, Ohio and Teresa Rojo of Colorado Springs. Her sister: Eva Aguilar; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The viewing will begin at 10:00 am- 11:00 am on Friday, October 26th at the church of "Our Lady of Guadalupe". The reception will take place at the family home. Blessed be her memory, she will be deeply missed.

I'm sadden to hear of the loss of Gloria, She was a great person. She was a wonderful sister-in-law to my mother Carmen Murphy, and a great aunt to us all. Even though we didn't see or get to talk with her much, when we did she always made us feel as if we had always been close. she will be missed , but I know she reunited with Uncle Manuel.

As I am saddened to hear the news of the passing of my Tia Gloria, I know she is happy in heaven with her Viejo & her sister & my dad JoJo.
