Harland´s texture is still present in the lives of so many on our shared street we live on. A soft spoken man whose demeanor belies his extraordinary accomplishments throughout his life.

We still refer to Harland´s home as his home. A home my wife, Margo, took more than one blueberry pie with ice cream to celebrate his birthdays. It was a joy to see the smile on his face when he received those.

I still remember Harland driving down the street and he would stop to see how things were going. When I asked him what he was up to he would say I am off to the Air Force Academy to volunteer at their hospital. A reminder that Harland´s generosity had no bounds.

I appreciate this oppotunity to honor his life and his presence in ours.

Dear Robyn and Jill. We have been neighbors with Harland on Scrub Oak Way for many years. On many days a quick visit as he was driving by our home was just what it took to make our day. His infectious smile and positive outlook on life will always be remembered. A gentleman first and foremost. We will sorely miss him. Love, Dave and Margo Csintyan
